BUSSINESS TRADING SUPPORT ANALYST recruitment

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•             Monitor and resolve any issues with DMASA client breaches.

•             Advise clients on functional and technical questions.

•             Escalate/follow-up on issues to appropriate technical resources.

•             Inform clients of loss of connectivity to Exchanges.

•             Conduct trade mitigation with exchanges in cases of business interruption.

•             Resolve previous day trade discrepancies.

•             Report bugs and enhancement requests to the various ISVs and open trouble tickets.

•             Confirm order status and position and cancel orders when necessary for internal and external clients.  

•             Proactively monitor orders and prices.  

•             Perform other duties or projects, as assigned

EXPERIENCE:     

Knowledge:       

Knowledge of globally traded electronic exchange products – Derivs and Equities

Familairity with rules and regs regarding SDMA.

Familiarity with back-office and clearing functions.

Familiarity with HFT/low latency trading.

Technical Skills:

Exposure to E-Trading ISV platforms ( Fidessa, TT, GL, RTS etc)

Solid knowledge and experience using PC software including MS Office.

FIX knowledge preferable.

Competencies:

Ability to learn new technologies.

Ability to multitask in high pressure situations

The ability to work effectively in a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

FSA Registration

Exchange registrations

Experience Needed:

2-5 years of experience in Financial industry

Educational Requirements:  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
