Buy Side Equity Analyst recruitment
Our client, a financial institution based in Geneva, is looking for a “Buy Side Equity Analyst” with a very good understanding of Asian markets.
Job Description
- Perform qualitative/fundamental analysis on global equities especially on Asian markets.
- As a member of the Investment Committee, present investment cases on stocks and discuss portfolio’s allocation with the investment managers.
- Follow and interpret daily news flow on portfolio’s equity holdings.
- On some occasions, this analyst could participate in research projects in order to enhance the investment process. This position also involves an interaction with the trading desk and the client-relationship teams.
Profile
- Minimum 7 years experience as a fundamental equity analyst.
- Must have previously worked on Asian equities
- Preferred knowledge of non-cyclical sectors: Consumer Staples, Utilities, Telecom and/or Healthcare.
- Experience in Event Driven, Fundamental Arbitrage or Merger Arbitrage analysis would be an advantage.
- University degree in finance or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and other financial data providers.
- Bilingual French and English
