EQUITY RESEARCH ANALYST – BUY SIDE
We are looking for a strong analyst to join their team to cover Saudi and GCC Equity Markets. The role will involve working directly with the Head of Equity Investments and portfolio manager on a day to day basis, stock picking and providing investment ideas to the team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining models, stock picking, providing short research notes for the investment committee to review. This is a buy side investment position and therefore it is extremely important the candidate has a great understanding of the investment process and experience within GCC equities market.
Skills required:
- 3 to 7 years Buy Side Equity Research – ideally gained within a leading regional investment bank or firm or reputable family office.
- Strong Research Skills is required
- Strong financials skills, including at lead three years of analytical experience or investment industry
- Financial modeling, industry and product analyst alongside report writing
- Experience within stock picking and providing investment ideas
- Presenting research to management and portfolio managers
- Saudi and GCC Equity research experience and track record
Strong preference for CFA or working towards CFA, MBA in finance and advantage - Excellent written, communication, presentation as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Essential is Fluency in English
- As well as being able to at least read Arabic reports
- You must be living within the Middle East Currently to qualify

ASSISTANT PORTFOLIO MANAGER / PORTFOLIO MANAGER - MENA EQUITY FOCUSED
The assistant portfolio manager / portfolio manager will play an active role in equity investing. You will currently working in this position with a track record in investing in Saudi Arabia and GCC equities and managing a sizeable portfolio. You will be given a great deal of responsibility and new investments to invest in and then manage.
- 3 to 7 years in portfolio management ideally gained within a leading regional investment firm, bank or reputable family office.
- Strong Portfolio Management Skills is required covering Equities
- Knowledge of Saudi and GCC Equities investing is essential
- Strong financials skills, including at lead three years of analytical or investment industry experience
- Industry and product analyst alongside report writing
- Experience within stock picking and providing investment ideas
- Presenting results to management
- Saudi and GCC Equity investment management experience is essential
- Strong preference for CFA or working towards CFA, MBA in finance and advantage
- Excellent written, communication, presentation as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Fluent English and able to at least read Arabic reports is required
