Buy Side Sales Account Manager
This sales person will be based in New York and selling a “new” product specifically to hedge funds and asset management firms.
The ideal candidate must have existing relationship with hedge funds and asset management firms, and will be tasked to sell MNI’s products to this audience. MNI News’ is specialized news on the fixed income and foreign exchange markets; therefore an understanding of these markets is beneficial. Also, an ability to close business and an aggressively selling acumen are paramount skill-sets for this position.
The desired person will be responsible for identifying the proper contacts at hedge funds and asset management firms who are interested in buying fixed income and foreign exchange news products. Thus, making cold calls and visiting clients is a large aspect of this position.
5+ years in the financial services industry is required.
