Buyer Contract Administration – Flat Roofing

£25k - £30k + Company Package.

 

Our Company

We are a leading construction company with a focus on the façade and building envelope. In particular Roofing Cladding is one of our specialties where we offer our services across London and the South East of England.

We have an excellent reputation within the construction industry, and are the preferred partner to many of the national main contractors. We have a very healthy order book for 2012 and are expanding slowly. Because of on going high demand for our services we are now looking to expand one of our South Easterly branches and bring a contract coordinator into our team.

 

The Role

This is a varied role, and will see you getting involved in all aspects of our contracts. You will have the opportunity to be involved with our clients, and all areas of our workforce to ensure works are carried out to the best levels possible.

A large focus of this role will be in the buying and purchasing department, ensuring that at every step of the contract all the necessary materials equipment are available to ensure a smooth project. Along with this you will be an important and central point to the branch, ensuring there are no problems that go unnoticed, and that all relevant team members are kept up to speed with all facets of works in progress.

You will also be involved on site, again in a purchasing / QS function, or aided with the surveying and generally ensuring everything is prepared and in place for contracts and colleagues.

 

You

You will have a construction background, ideally with the flat roofing side of the industry (Experience in Cladding, Timber, Façade, Building Envelope, Main Contractors and general construction will also be considered) . A background in a similar role will of course be advantageous with a broad experience that will include purchasing general contract administration.

You will be hard working, keen to work in a small professional team and looking for a career role, where there is always the future potential to progress. Training will be given depending on your experience, but the essential skills of contract coordination and purchasing must already exist within our industry.

 

Timeframe Location

This role will be based in South London / North Surrey and we do have access to train services close by, but ideally we would prefer it if you could drive as well. To be eligible you need to be based in or be commutable to South London / North Surrey (Croydon).
