Buyer Job in Minneapolis 55401, Minnesota Us
Immediate need for Contract Construction Supply Coordinators to plan, schedule and ensure construction material delivery supply.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to coordinate with suppliers, designers, scheduling and construction in the operations and scheduling of construction material supplies
- Responsible for verifying accurate need dates and notifying supplier and Supply Chain Buyers of required delivery dates.
Requirements
- Requires Technical, Vocational or related Associates Degree and 2+ years construction material supply chain experience
- Must have skills to collaborate with construction, scheduling, vendors, stores and Supply Chain Buyers on the successful execution of expedited or emergency delivery requirements
- Must be able to assure proper financial transactions, including receipts and returns
- Require the communication skills to work with construction supervisors and foreman on shipment discrepancies and resolve with appropriate suppliers
- Seeking candidates proficient with Passport, Word, Access and Excel
- Requires some travel
