Position Title: Buyer/Inventory Planner
Will Report To: Purchasing Manager
Position Description:
The Buyer/Inventory Planner will coordinate activities involved with procuring goods and services, review requisitions, and confer with vendors to obtain product/service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Review requisitions and place Purchase/Production orders.

Follow up with vendors and Contract Manufacturer (CM) on open / blanket orders on a daily and weekly basis.

Confirm part number, pricing, and delivery schedules.

Communicate with Sales, Operations, and Engineering employees as needed.
Position Requirements:

Excellent communication and mathematical skills

Excellent writing, documentation, and analytical skills

Able to generate Analytics Reports as needed

Good Team Player

Ability to show initiative

Works well under pressure and is able to work independently as well as under supervision
Required Education and Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting or related fields

5+ years of Purchasing/Inventory Planning experience

Microsoft Office Suite
-
MRP/ERP systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
-
Experience in Broadcast/Electronics manufacturing industries
-
Experience in mid-size company environments
-
Navision (a plus, but not required)
