They are the UK’s largest on-line gift experience company selling over 4,000 different gifts and experiences and generating turnover in excess of £25million. They have been established for over 11 years and employ over 70 people in the UK. They are part of a multi-million pound international group of gift experience companies.

Are you able to get a “foot in the door”? Our client is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their Sourcing team, based in the London Area, however with a National remit. You will get paid for every contract that is signed up.

This position will be responsible for presenting the company as a perfect opportunity for businesses to acquire new customers through both promotional deals, and also lucrative premium product positioned on the company’s website. While doing so it will be the responsibility of the Sourcing Executive to record accurate data regarding prospective customers, and the targeted market area.

Duties and responsibilities of the role:

•         Proactively seek out new opportunities in conjunction with the Gourmet Account Managers and UK Head of Buying

·         Understand our business model, know key KPIs and be able to apply an intelligent sales pitch

·         Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all activities.

·         Be courteous, neat, clean and in proper attire at all times.

·         Provide feedback of canvassing results.

·         Conduct a high volume of calls per day and arrange to meet with relevant contacts  

·         Represent our business at all times with the utmost degree of professionalism.

·         Be a cooperative team player.

In order for your application to be successful it is necessary for you to have the following skills and experience:

·         Minimum of 3 years sales experience

·         Experience in canvassing and cold-calling into various types of local businesses, with evidence of consistent and current success

·         Strong interpersonal and social skills

·         Network of contacts in the relevant sector is a definite bonus

·         Bachelor degree is desirable

·         Positive attitude, consultative approach and self-motivation are all essential
