Buyside Equity Research Analyst- LONDON
This small investment firm are looking to expand their team, with a current AUM of £3 billion this will involve , joining one of the most success teams within the UK. The investment team are looking for a strong analyst to join their team to cover a variety of different sectors within UK and North America with a Pan European geographical focus. The role will involve working directly with the leading Portfolio Manager of the fund on a day to day basis, stock picking and providing investment ideas of the team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining models, stock picking, providing short research notes for the investment committee to review. This is a buyside investment position and therefore it is extremely important the candidate has a great understanding of the investment process and experience within equities market.
Skills required:-
- An IBD, Research or Financial services background is required
- Strong financials skills, including at lead three years of analytical experience or investment industry
- Key skills required include financial modeling, industry and product analyst alongside report writing
- Experience within stock picking and providing investment ideas
- MBA, Masters in Finance related subject or CFA preferred/ or equivalent work experience
- Excellent written, communication, presentation as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Fluency in Mandarin, and English will be a benefit.
This extremely strong role will enable the successful candidate to process further into their career, allowing them to next the next step with the ability to take on a lead analyst position. You will have to demonstrate the ability to perform in this highly successful field.
