A world leading Brokerage/ Exchange is urgently seeking a new C# Access 97, SQL Energy Developer (Forms, triggers, database design) to join their back-office trading systems team who have a focus on Energy products. Experience with coal, gas, oil or power is highly beneficial. The company are currently going massive organisational change and the role of C#, Access 97, SQL Energy Developer (Forms, triggers, database design) will be very important for the company huge organisational move from an Exchange into a Brokerage.
You will join the back-office product trading systems team who are in charge of improving their strategy and process for the whole of their energy trading division. The structural change requires a number of changes to be made to the security and networking to make sure they meet the regulatory requirements.
The role as C#, Access 97, SQL Developer (Forms, triggers, database design) will be very challenging and for the right person who thrives on the full development lifecycle development is sure to be kept ion their toes and will find the job both incredibly rewarding and exciting. You will have direct contact business user's and functionality product experts as well as traders; therefore it is imperative your communication skills are strong and that you have an understanding of financial services asset classes and trading systems.
The successful C#, Access 97, SQL Developer (Forms, triggers, database design) will require the following skills:
* · Strong Communication Skills (essential)
* · Full life cycle experience (essential)
* · Access 97 experience (essential)
* · C# Development (essential)
* · SQL Server 2005 including triggers, stored procedure, functions, triggers (essential)
* · Trading systems experience ideally within Coal, Oil or Power (highly desirable)
Initially you will require using your skills within Access 97 and SQL 2005 in order to aid with the migration of their systems; after which, the role will become a C# development role again working on the back-office product trading systems. This is an absolutely ideal position for candidates who are seeking more autonomy and responsibility within what they are building whilst working on exciting yet challenging projects now and in the future.
