C# and ASP.NET Developers – with XHTML

Overall Purpose of Role:

We are seeking a developer with specific skills in Web development in Microsoft C# and ASP.NET. You will be a member of a highly skilled team tasked with developing our Web Admin Tool. You will have a track record of delivering Web based solutions with particular emphasis on both scalability and reliability. You will have specific experience in Microsoft C#, ASP.NET and a good understanding of the .NET platform, preferably .NET 3.5. A reasonable understanding of AJAX is desired. As a company, we are particularly focused on maintaining a culture that elicits the best from our team. You will be a self starter with strong communication skills and excellent problem solving skills. The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic technical environment on challenging projects with a rapidly expanding global company.

 

Required experience/skills:

 

·       2+ years of Development Experience

·       2+ years of HTML / DHTML / XHTML / Javascript or similar technology

·       2+ years as a C# / ASP.NET developer on Web Projects

·       2+ years of ADO.NET development experience

·       An understanding of the .NET CLI and the .NET framework. Ideally 3.5, minimum 2.0.

·       B.S. in Computer Science, M.S. or PhD highly desired

·      At least 4 of the following 5:

·         .Net 3.5

·         C#3

·         LINQ

·         JQuery

·         MVC/MVP

·       Excellent written and verbal skills

·       Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills

·       Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced, agile work environment

·       Ability to work well with other Highly Talented individuals

 

Highly desirable experience/skills:

 

·       2+ years with enterprise applications

·       Unit testing, ideally NUnit

·       JQuery

·       MVC / MVP

·       Domain Driven Design (DDD)

·       Full Software Development Lifecycle

·       UML modeling

·       NAnt

·       Working with Web Services or Databases

·       Continuous Integration

·       SCRUM

 

Useful experience/skills:

 

·       Design Patterns (OOP)

·       Test Driven Development (TDD)

·       Silverlight / Web Design (UI)

·       Mocking Frameworks

·       SQL Server, stored procedures / ORM

·       Web Services and SOA experience

·       Microsoft MSMQ or similar environment

·       Enterprise Message Bus / Enterprise Service Bus experience

·       Test Automation Tools
