C# API Developer Quant Fund

Alexander Black Recruitment is urgently looking for a C# API Developer to join our high profile client.

Our client is a £1 billion strong systematic quant hedge fund with 10 years of excellent performance.

The successful C# Developer will take on the role of a C# Developer working directly with the traders and will be involved in the building of trading and risk management tools and in the development of market access systems across both server-side systems and graphical systems. The role will also cover the support of the traders’ existing tools (excel spread sheets, C# applications and 3rd party software). The main focus will be the development of an automated trading API as well as the algos that allow signals to go to market.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate hands-on C# developer and technologist.

Applicants should possess strong software engineering skills, a logical approach to problem solving and be able to prioritise work under pressure (main dev language C#). You must have experience of API development.

Responsibilities:

- Prototyping

- Rapid iterative solutions

- System analysis, design, coding and testing of multi-asset trading system in C#/.NET and SQL

- Interact with Trading, Research and other technical groups to understand the business requirements.
