This truly world beating market maker is looking for a particularly strong and enthusiastic C++ on Unix based technologist, with in depth current experience of both hands on, low level coding, as well as overall architecture and design of latency sensitive, real time and event driven systems.
The team has hired a number of new members over the last year, for the most part the people they have hired have come from hands on team lead and/or architectural roles at banks, other market makers, software houses or funds. These are people from a particularly strong technical background who have also gained thorough experience at an architectural level. Specific financial markets business knowledge is not as important as C++ technical skills in this team, the focus here is on finding someone with experience of building appropriate, efficient and fast systems, relevant business knowledge can be learned 'on the job' as this team sits with the business.
