C# / ASP.Net Developer - Microsoft HPC / Grid Computing
A prominent energy trading company based in central London is currently looking for a C# ASP.Net Developer to work on the development of their trading systems. Reporting to the Lead Developer, you will work closely with the business in a front office capacity to develop solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies, prototyping quick win business solutions for the Operations and Quants teams specifically.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Microsoft development technologies, specifically C#, .Net 3.5/4, Visual Studio, ASP.Net MVC, WCF and Silverlight. We are also looking for candidates with previous exposure to High Performance Computing (HPC), or alternatively Grid Computing or Parallel Programming. A relevant qualification, such as Cloudera, Hadoop or CCDH would be highly advantageous. Financial Services experience, preferably within a trading environment, would be desirable, although candidates with the right technical expertise from a corporate background will also be considered.
