Our client has grown from a jig and tool manufacturer to a high level manufacturing partner. They supply precision machined components and fully tested electro-mechanical assemblies to some of the biggest life science and hi-tech companies in the world. An opportunity has now arisen for a C-Axis CNC Programmer / Setter to join their team.
As a C-Axis CNC Programmer / Setter, you will be responsible for programming, setting and running C-Axis CNC lathes. You’ll also be required to complete in-process inspections to ISO:9001:2008 processes.
Working as part of a dynamic team, this role requires plenty of initiative and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- CNC programming and/or setting experience gained within a precision engineering environment
- A proven track record of programming and setting up C-Axis CNC lathes
- Knowledge of fixturing techniques and tooling solutions
As a C-Axis CNC Programmer / Setter, you’ll have first class communication skills, both written and verbal.
Whilst not essential, experience of working within the petrochemical industry would be beneficial to your application.
