A Global leading Prop-Trading house specialising in cross-asset and Algorithmic Trading is opening an office in the UK. This successful Trading House/Hedge fund has built business globally across the course of 17 years and is now venturing further into the European markets. This company has always had heavy focus on the core of their success, which they consider to be, their technology and development team.
This is an exciting opportunity for you as a C++, C#, Murex, Low Latency Algorithmic Developer to join an established company and be a part of the new team in London where you will be working on trading systems and trading systems development. You will be purely working on Greenfield projects, building a market making plug-in to align with the current software to enhance the trader's experience. For this role you will need to be heavily technical in C++ programming and have some experience in C#, as the system is all automated and high speed so any low level work is also beneficial and previous experience working with software similar to tbricks is also beneficial. This role is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys creating the architecture of systems and experiment, bringing new ideas to the board. Applications that are built will be decided according to your skills once you join the company. Our client has said any experience in building trading applications or Algorithmic trading is desired but not necessary.
For this role as a C++, C#, Murex, Low Latency Algorithmic Developer you will need the following skill set:
* Strong technical background in C++ (Essential)
* Experience in C#
* Experience working with market making plug-ins (Desirable)
* Experience working on trading applications or Algorithmic Trading (Desirable)
* Experience multi-threading/networking (Essential)
* Ability to speak with the business (Essential)
* Building applications from scratch (Essential)
