Market leading Investment Bank seeking highly skilled C# / C++ developer to join their Core Frameworks group. The group develops bank-wide, cross asset technologies that are applied across an array of business domains and focuses on maintaining a very high engineering standard with development practices tending to be ahead of many financial institutions with respect to continuous integration, automated testing and dynamic use of virtual machines. Project work varies significantly in size from minor works to full scale greenfield development projects. The successful applicant will play a central role in the ongoing development of the groups highly scalable enterprise standard distributed data store, designing and developing the next generation of technology to a high level of technical excellence. Candidates must have very strong C# server side development skills alongside a background in C++ (the ability to read and debug code rather than expert level).
