Harrington Starr is working with a Global Financial Trading firm who is looking to hire a Senior C++ Developer for a 6 month contract (poss ext) to work on a Low Latency and HFT trading application. The role is based in London City and you will be working with cutting edge trading technologies for this firm.
You will be assigned to Projects covering the Exchange Systems and Trading Systems. These are Low Latency, Real time trading applications for a Multi Asset Trading across the globe. You will have extensive C++ Development on a Linux or UNIX operating system. Knowledge of TCP/IP and distributed systems would also be essential to this role. As the Senior C++ Developer you will work with users across the globe so strong written and verbal communications will be essential for this role. Experience in working within finance and banking will be essential for this role. Knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, FX, Interest Rates and Derivatives products is essential.
Technical Skills:
* Expert experience in C++ programming (essential)
* Expert experience in STL boost Libraries (essential)
* Expert knowledge of Real time and Low latency programming (essential)
* Expert experience in OOP(essential)
* Expert experience with Financial Instruments - Fixed Income, FX, Equities, Credit,
* SQL Server experience
* Oracle Database experience
