C++ Developer – Low Latency – High Frequency – Trading Systems
Hays FT have been engaged by a leading Tier 1 Investment Bank to assist in the attraction and acquisition of a highly skilled Low Latency C++ Developer to join the Futures Front Office Development Team. The team is responsible for the development of an Algos platform and a Low Latency platform that caters to clients engaged in Futures, Options and Equities products globally.
This is predominately Greenfield C++ development on the Low Latency Trading System – You will be participating in the ongoing innovation and design of the next generation platform and working with the Futures Business to gather requirements, design and implement new functionality and features as requested by clients of the system.
As such we are looking for an exceptional C++ Developer from a computer Science or Mathematics background that understands technology from a low level, you will have experience in developing Low Latency, High Frequency Systems and keen to grow your career in Investment Banking. This position offers a great career opportunity and the candidate will have excellent opportunities for promotion or move to other business area’s.
The Key Requirements:
• Low Level C++ Development
• Linux or Windows.
• Strong record of C++ required
• Good Linux experience preferred
• Knowledge of messaging and middleware frameworks
• Java is a nice to have but not essential
• Banking knowledge is nice to have but not essential
