A position for a highly-proficient developer has become available in the FX Options development team. This unit within the client is poised for growth and expansion. This is a global team with development centers in New York, London, and Hong Kong. The candidate will be focused on the development, enhancement and support of the FX Options trading applications, with responsibility for full life cycle development including requirement gathering from the business, design, implementation, testing and deployment of enhancements and new applications. The position requires excellent theoretical and practical development knowledge and a strong OO understanding. 24 hours out of 3 locations handing over to each other throughout the day. Roles and Responsibilities: Duties will include: The candidate must be a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player with passion for building rich user interface applications and an extensive use of tiered technology. The candidate must be able to function with light supervision and be able to carry out the tasks necessary to deliver quality solutions to the business. You will interact with internal clients such as, trading, quants, sales, technology and client operations groups as well as colleagues in New York and Hong Kong. Experience working with a trading desk, especially FX Options, is highly desirable. Required skills and experience: C++ Developer Unix Knowledge of XML and related technologies Experience in High volume / high performance applications Data structures experience Experience of full software development life cycle Capital Markets Domain experience Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or IT Related
