C# Developer – Building Trading Platforms – Chi
I am currently working with a prop trading firm based in Chicago (Loop) who are currently looking for a C# / C++ developer to building a trading platform for them, almost from scratch.
The client knows what the look and feel of the trading platform will be, however, they are looking for a candidate with experience of building multiple platforms who will be able to guide them through the project, with your experience ensuring optimum performance and the avoidance of pitfalls.
Your experience will include, but not be limited to :-
WPF or Silverlight experience
High frequency Low latency
Multithreading
Middleware such as Tibco, Apache, Talarian
Widgets and screen layouts
Building UI for high volume traffic
Outstanding problem solving, project management skills
Testing
This opportunity is not right for you if you are usually prescribed what to do in a contract, this is for a candidate who can think on their feet, understand the pros and cons of each stage of the project and act on this.
This role will be for a minimum of 6 months with potential for a contract to hire if the right candidate makes an impression.
