C++ Developer – Fixed Income IT recruitment
Our client, a top tier bank is seeking a strong C++ developer to join their fixed income IT team. Hands on experience with development in a Windows environment is key
This will be a mix of development and support. The main responsibilities will be to design and develop new pieces of software or to enhance existing software to provide new functionality or to correct bugs. The successful candidate would also be expected to get involved in support if a major problem in production arises. Finally, in the lead up to a major release, you would be expected to get involved with the regression testing of an allocated area of the system. The candidate is expected to conform to the application architecture/development architecture, programming convention and conscientious in keeping up with program documentation.
Requirements:
Excellent C++/Windows
Conversant SQL on a relational database
Familiarity with Standard Template Library
Familiarity with XML
Knowledge of Windows sockets
Financial products knowledge (swaps, options) with min 3 yrs development experience
