C# Developer – Flow Risk recruitment
The Flow Risk team serves global Flow Credit and Flow Rates businesses within Fixed Income, focusing on products such as Bonds, CDS and Interest Rate Swaps/Fras. The system provides real-time valuation and risk management to our desks, as well as end of day valuations for Market Risk and Finance. The team is structured to service the Credit and Rates business through dedicated streams, and a shared underlying foundations team.
This role is for a developer within the Core Foundations team which owns and develops all services related to risk engines, trade and market data flow through the system. The team consists of members in Stamford and London with clients in all major UBS locations.
As a key developer on some of the most complex and critical parts of the system, the person will be expected to plan and action delivery to the business whilst still driving forward our architecture, platform development and evaluation.

Key skills / experience requirements for the position include:
- You are a strong C# developer with a proven track record of delivering to the front office
- You must be able to demonstrate areas where you have been able to lead clients on technical issues and use domain knowledge to deliver robust, scalable and fit for purpose solutions
- You must be well organised and have a proven record of managing client relationships, stakeholder demands and team ability to deliver tangible results
- You should have experience of working directly with the front office and Quants (preferably Fixed Income - Rates) to deliver analytical changes to a Risk Management System Using your Technical, Organisational and Interpersonal skills you’re able to deliver to the front office on large scale enterprise level applications
- You should be familiar with either Sybase or Oracle databases
- In summary, you’re a skilled c # developer with a history of leading technical design and executing system implementation
