The successful C++ Software Developer will join an immensely successful and rapidly growing Trading Systems group, comprised of some of the best Software Developers and Computer Scientists, from a broad range of industry backgrounds, globally. The C++ Software Developer will play the crucial role of the design and development of cutting-edge tools for a next generation, high performance and low latency trading platform that connects route orders and streams market data from exchanges around the world. There is no barrier between the technology and the business, and thus the successful C++ Developer will be able to enjoy and thrive from the open, collaborative atmosphere.

Talented C++ Developer- High Performance Trading Systems Infrastructure should have the following skill-set:

• Exceptional C++ coding ability

• Experience with Java would also be beneficial

• Bachelors/ Masters/ PhD in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Physics/ Mathematics or other scientific related field would be beneficial

• Solid experience developing high performance, multithreaded systems

• Exposure to low latency tools would be advantageous but isn’t essential

• Desirable skills include: TCP/IP networking and FIX connectivity

• Solid communication skills due to the open and collaborative nature of the working environment

The responsibilities of the Talented C++ Developer- High Performance Trading Systems Infrastructure will include, but not be limited to:

• Design and development of a cutting-edge, high performance trading system for the Options, Equities and Futures markets

• Development and optimisation of the Exchange Connectivity platform and Order Routers

• Utilise networks and system programming to reduce the latency of the system

• Liaise directly with the Head of Electronic Trading regarding current projects
