C++ Developer – High Throughput / Low Latency recruitment
There has been a dramatic increase in market data volumes in the recent past causing an increased focus on throughput, latency, and reliability of market data distribution systems. The team is also responsible for consolidating different market data feeds.
REQUIREMENTS Candidates should have experience in C++ on Unix systems and Knowledge of data structures/algorithms and the full SDLC.Knowledge of STL and Socket programming experience is a plus. Project involves programming with TCP/IP, UDP, and Multicast sockets.Knowledge of Unix internals, Low Latency / High Throughput market data systems.Multithreaded development experience and sockets and high performance network tuning issues such as NUMAMinimum 3 years experience in C++ Unix/linux systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of FIX is desirable.Project involves programming with TCP/IP, UDP, and Multicast sockets.Knowledge of Unix internals is a plus.Multithreaded development experience and socketsExperience with Market Data feeds would be a plus, including some or all of these: CQS, UQDF, OPRA, ITCH, ArcaBook, OpenBook, BATS, CME.Good to have: Realtime systems experience and knowledge of how markets function.
