C++ Developer in Exchange Connectivity recruitment
Exchange Connectivity / C++ / Low Latency / Associate / VP
A leading Investment bank is looking for an experienced, hands-on developer with solid C++ and experience working on exchange connectivity. This is a high frequency trading group with a focus on index arbitrage globally.
The development effort is predominantly C++ and the connectivity systems are developed in house and used across asset classes. Strong scripting skills and a good grasp of Computer Science fundamentals are also required.
The role is between Associate to Senior VP level and is based in London. Your time will be split between tactical (RAD) development and longer term strategic extensions to the trading systems. The systems are built on a combination of Linux and Windows systems. Experience working on exchange connectivity and feed handlers is mandatory and experience working directly with European exchanges is a big plus.
Ideal experience would be within a high-frequency trading group in a bank or hedge fund (or consultancy) is highly advantageous.
