This established yet relatively young proprietary trading business is looking for an enthusiastic C++ developer to join the high frequency equities trading desk. The role will be instrumental in the design and development of a brand new set of low latency trading system components which will eventually replace the vendor system they currently have in place.
The team is looking for someone with at least 2 years experience of designing and developing C++ based applications, people from gaming and telecommunications will be highly interesting to the team as will people with messaging systems experience.
The aim will be to build systems which can execute trades in the low 10’s of microseconds so these are very fast systems, an interest in building such systems is mandatory. Overall, the team is looking for a particularly bright and enthusiastic individual who wants to take pride in building some highly competitive systems ‘the right way’, financial experience is not necessary.
