Harrington Starr is working with one of the leading Financial Services Trading Systems Vendor to find a C++ Developer to join their software development team.
As the C++ Developer (STL, Boost, Java) you will be working on developing and building trading systems that cover a large variety of asset classes. You will be working on hardcore backend development in C++ and will be given extensive training in C++ and in the financial services sector. If you come from another object oriented language background you will be able to be retrained in C++.
This Trading Systems Vendor has consistently pushed forward new development throughout the recession and as such is in a much stronger position to their competitors. You will be joining the foremost Vendor in Finance and will be give yourself a fantastic platform for your career.
* Knowledge of Object Oriented Language, e.g. Java or C++, + willingly to be retrained in C++ - Essential
* A computer science or numerical focused degree - Essential
* Knowledge of Derivatives - Beneficial
As the C++ Developer if you come from a Java or a C# background you will be able to be retrained in C++ and this will allow you to focus on trading systems development going forward.
