12 month contract for a talented Lead C# FX developer
Hiring a C# .NET team lead, to work for a top tier Investment bank, based in Central London,
The Successful Candidate must have current experience of Foreign Exchange, have team lead experience and come from a pure C# .NET development background. This is a new green field project.
Job Skills and Knowledge:
Essential:
-Lead experience
-Comprehensive knowledge of C# .net
-Good knowledge of GUI, WPF, WCF
-Good experience within Foreign Exchange
-Experience in developing in a Front Office financial services environment
-Experience with multi-threaded designs and distributed processing
-Understanding of Object-Oriented Modelling/Design/Programming
Desirable:
-Knowledge of Python
-Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
-Understanding of Grid or Distributed Computing
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Designing, developing and testing system enhancements/changes in accordance with priorities set by management
Producing technical analysis/design documents/specifications as required
Producing and justifying estimates for design/development tasks
Discussing business requirements with end users and/or analysts from other project teams and recommending possible solutions/options
Mentoring more junior staff when required
Helping to implement the Bank's control policies and mitigate key-man risk
Adhering at all times to the Bank's code of conduct and established procedures
Key Relationships:
Will lead a team to support and discuss strategies and issues with all members of the team (developers, support staff, analysts, managers)
