We need RockStar Engineers to join our small but rapidly growing Startup in the San Francisco Bay. We have made double-digit hires over the last month and plan to continue at this rate throughout the year.

Who you are:
You work closely with the Game Lead to design new features. You preserve the daily rhythms of the game through attention to problems and efficient management of design challenges that affect a large network of users. You are a visionary whose creative edge is balanced by the flexibility to handle anything from user interfaces to path finding algorithms.
What you get to do every day:
- Write compact, accurate code that communicates with our back end technologies
- Collaborate with peers to deliver high-quality products
- Contribute creatively to the development of new game features
- Resolve problems as they arise coming up with solutions that meet the demands of the projects
- Write unit tests and come up with efficient ways to test complex multi-player synchronous and asynchronous game play
What you bring to the role:
- 3+ years programming experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in and knowledge of C/C++, data structures, performance, and multi-threaded programming techniques
- Enjoy working with scripting languages
- Contributed extensively to the development of one or more shipped games, PC or console
- Knowledge of common data structures and algorithmic solutions
- Proficient with 3D math including linear algebra (vector math, matrices)
- Thorough knowledge of software design practices including modular architecture, event-driven architecture, and software design patterns
- Ability to quickly understand and work with internal and externally developed code
- University-level degree in Computer Science or related field
- A strong passion for video games of many kinds
