Challenging GUI development Role in a leading Investment Bank. Reengineer existing applications work closely with dynamic business needs!
We are in the process of identifying suitably qualified C# front-end developers to work heavily using WPF on GUI’s that support applications that cut across provide pre-trade analysis, risk and pnl views as well as market monitors for Interest Rate Derivatives, including and not limited to Swaps, Swaptions and Bonds.
The prospective candidate will focus on developing user interfaces using C# WPF and leverage their core C# skills to provide services for the GUIs they build.
This role provides a very good opportunity to learn about interest rate derivatives and work on globally deployed applications.
The candidate must possess the following competencies:
- WPF user interface development following the MVVM paradigm
- Knowledge and use of Dependency Injection containers, particularly Unity
- A background in object-orientated design
- Familiarity with design patterns
- Working with XML and binary formats
A Knowledge of Fixed Income products and experience in developing applications for Fixed Income business together with experience with using Infragistics controls, WCF and Microsoft Prism will be advantageous. Past experience with coding in C++ and/or Java is good to have.
