C++ GUI Software Engineer
A huge and rapidly expanding software house are looking for an experienced C++ GUI Developer for their offices in Central London. My client are leaders in the development of advanced software for the design of turbomachinery (gas turbine, aeroengine, compressors and pumps). They have manufacturing plants and tech offices in Europe, Japan and the US. In order to continue their aggressive expansion, they need to recruit an expert C++ GUI software developer.
You should have:
- 3+ years’ commercial software development experience.
- Experience of both Windows and Unix/Linux based development environments.
- 2+ Years of C++ and Object Oriented Programming.
- Experience of QT GUI development.
- Some knowledge of CAD and Surface modelling.
- Familiarity with product development life cycle and quality testing assurance methodologies.
- Experience of the full range of development activities - requirements gathering, specification, design, development, implementation, testing and documentation.
- The ability to work closely in a team environment, while at the same time independently driving development projects to a successful conclusion.
It will be useful if you have:
- A relevant degree in Maths, Physics, computer science or engineering
- Expertise with numerical algorithms.
