C++ High Performance Computing Engineer recruitment
My client, and world leading entity in the field of prop trading is looking for a high performance computing engineer with immediate effect. Technical roles rarely appear within the firm due to high staff retention rates, the collaborative environment, and the constant refreshing of development ideas within the firm, not to mention the compensation paid out.
I am therefore looking for candidates with exceptionally high development standards, enjoy and embrace complex coding challenges, and embrace an open talent sharing environment to maximise every avenue possible in enhancing the trading systems of the client. Speed as is commonly known is the key, so innovative ways of reducing the latency of the trading system is the ultimate goal in this technology remit. Millisecond to nanoseconds is the current addiction of the client and technologists on site.
From a technical perspective the client is looking for experience of C++, Linux, STL, multicast and experience of working on millisecond systems. I would stress my client is very open to out of industry professionals so experienced developers from the following fields defence, F1, gaming, science or of course finance itself would be welcomed. Academically a PhD or MSc is the minimum criteria.
