My client is an over-performing privately owned proprietary trading house that specialises in high frequency trading across Asian and North American Equities and Futures. As part of their further expansion in Asia, they are looking to further expand their technology capabilities with a suite of bespoke in-house built software, including trading platforms, risk systems and trading tools. To do this, my client will be hiring THREE SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS in Hong Kong.

- Drive to bring more of the technology to HK to focus on building better systems, platforms and tools to increase trading activities and revenues
The roles
- Three C++ developers to be the first on the ground in HK as the firm begins its initiative to build their core Asian trading platforms out of Hong Kong
- Initial focus will be to support the systems (2 and 3 line) whilst you learn about the organization, the IT and the trading strategies
- Then the role will transition towards delivering new systems and technologies to support pre-existing and NEW trading strategies and business lines
- Technical environment: C++/Java on Linux/Unix, Python, SQL/Sybase

- You will be part of the first group of developers situated in HK, working directly with the trading team, quants, strats and other stakeholders
- You will be working on extremely sophisticated and advanced high frequency trading technologies and strategies

- The compensation structure is typical of the buy-side: solid but modest base salary with large bonus component
