C# / Java Development Team Leader – Central London recruitment
Candidates need to have experience within MS Project, coupled with knowledge of testing processes (Test driven development, behavioural driven development)
The main job role is as follows:
• Regularly hold team meetings to share information relating to the team.
• Promote ideas and team participation
• Develop and regularly update measurable goals and objectives for each individual that are aligned with the team’s and Micros goals
• Provide feedback and coaching to team members. Address and resolve performance problems constructively and in a timely fashion
• Take time to actively listen to team members’ problems and points of view
• Carry out constructive performance reviews; write them up promptly, and follow up on agreed actions
• Allocate tasks; set deadlines; assist team members in prioritising their tasks where necessary
Technical Skills required:
• 4+ years’ experience writing either C# or Java and preferably knowledge of the other.
• 4+ years’ experience of building web application
• Previous experience in e-commerce
• Knowledge of enterprise systems
• Experience working within Agile development teams
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery
• Test Driven Development and code refactoring
Up to £50,000 as a base, based in Central London.
It’s a very high-pressure work environment, but with a real work hard, play hard culture – will be expected to manage multiple projects at any one time
