C## Lead Developer – Prop Trading

A proprietary trading firm in Chicago is actively hiring a Senior GUI Developer to work as a team lead for an advanced team of C# Developers. The role calls for the Senior Developer to lead the team through the new development and release of the next generation trading platform. This is a full time position located in downtown Chicago.

This role will have ownership over multiple multi-million dollar projects and be responsible for the direction of development, architecture and project management. The firm works in progressive "beta mode" style of development, comparable to cutting-edge software firms.

Requirements for this role include:

  • -5 years of experience with C#
  • -2 years of experience with winforms
  • -Experience working on GUI related projects
  • -Architecture experience is a plus
  • -Experience with WPF
  • -Experience with WCF
  • -Previous development of financial applications
  • -Experience designing multi-threaded, low latency applications
