C++ Low Latency Exchange Connectivity Developer recruitment

C++ Exchange Connectivity Developer required by a leading Investment Bank to join their Equities team. The successful candidate will be required to develop, deploy and support the EMEA platforms for Client connectivity and Low Latency exchange connectivity.

The role is to sit within my clients Equities Electronic Trading Technology department. The electronic trading suite of products is offered to clients via client connectivity technology that uses the FIX protocol which is the international standard for trading messages. The service offered includes Equities Single Stock, Program Trading, Allocations, IOIs, Algorithmic Stock Trading, Direct Market Access and other asset classes.

My clients exchange connectivity platform is transitioning from Java to C++; using a range of cutting edge technologies including FPGA's. The exchange connectivity gateways implement native exchange protocols for key venues e.g. LSE, Euronext, Xetra-Eurex, SWX, Chi-X, BATS etc.

The primary aim of this position is to develop and enhance connectivity applications primarily for EMEA but also globally including N.America and Asia.

Successful candidates must be highly experienced in the following:
- Very strong C/C++
- Experience in low-latency connectivity or networking/market data applications
- Deep knowledge of networking, TCP stacks
- Exchange protocols - LSE/XETRA-EUREX/EURONEXT
- FIX Protocol
- Algorithms and data structure expert
- Low-level Linux system programming
