An award winning provider of algorithmic electronic trading platforms is currently seeking a C# .NET 4.0, WPF, WCF, MVVM, TDD, BDD, software engineer, Developer, Programmer to join there ever growing team of developers based in the London (City). The company specialises in providing algorithmic electronic trading software to a huge global client base of buy and sell side firms ranging from Hedge Funds, Investment Banks and, Asset Managers, Commodity Trading Advisors and Institutional Brokers.
The company success has been driven by their commitment to continuously upgrading its products and services and has recently introduced a number of new innovative applications which utilise the very best in technologies.
The company are looking for extremely bright innovative and technology passionate individuals.
The C# .NET 4, WPF, WCF, MVVM, TDD, BDD, software engineer, Developer, Programmer will be responsible for developing WPF client application and its counterparty WCF Server with the majority of work surrounding their new font end application.
The company has what can only be described as an incredibly special environment through which they have a very much Google approach to work and actively encourage their staff to spend at least 10% of the time working on their own projects (amongst other things) . As a C# .NET 4, WPF, WCF, MVVM, TDD, BDD, software engineer, Developer, Programmer you will require the following skills:
* C#.NET (Essential
* Strong technical/numerical Degree (minimum 2:1) Essential
* Passion for programming with a demonstrable history of independent learning. Essential
* Independent thinker Essential
* Excellent communication skills Essential
* Team work Essential
* WPF, WCF .NET 4.0, MVVM, TDD/BDD, Kanban (more of these technical skills the better)
If you have a very strong technical or numeric degree are a keen technical hobbyist and are looking to work on the newest and most exciting technologies on the market then this may be the career path for you.
Please be aware that if your CV has passed the first stage you will then be invited for a technical test which will be divided up into a software engineering, language and an algorithmic section.
