C#.Net Developer – Front Office
Leading bank is looking for a .NET Developer (C#, WinForms, WCF and WPF) to join their Front Office Development Team to work closely with the Traders to develop their system. The successful candidate will primarily focus on the analysis, design and development of the bank's CVA platform incorporating enterprise grid computing system which is used to compute trade valuations and risk.
Responsibilities:
* Delivery of new functionality as well as support of existing ones using industry best practices to deliver business value.
* Discussion of requirements, design and testing issues with the business users.
* Working across all aspects of the application suite to provide a balanced view of the application and the business they serve.
* Working with other members of the team bringing previous experiences of technology to the team.
* Liaising with support teams to assist in diagnosing and resolving production issues.
Essential Skills
* Excellent knowledge of .NET including WinForms, WPF and WCF.
* Knowledge of SQL Server including complex Stored Procedures.
* Front Office Experience or Development of Trading Applications
Advantageous Skills:
* Grid Computing
* IR derivatives and FX products
* Experience of third party component libraries such a Infragistics, Component One or DevExpress
* UML and XML
