C# .Net Developer – Work in a stable, results-oriented, and dog
Your talents in writing C# applications and driving development projects to completion are proven. What gets you excited is assuming ownership, and being a decision maker on platform development projects that produce measurable business results. You may even be a consultant who's ready to get off the road. In this key role for our small company, we will count on you to complete the upgrade of our proprietary VB6 application to C# and keep it evolving it to meet the business needs.

Our proprietary software platform is a key to our success. The current version has served us well, but it's time to upgrade it using current technologies. We have chosen C# as that technology and need you to make that upgrade and ongoing releases a reality.
Not only will you be producing the high quality code that you do naturally, but also manage all other aspects of the efforts. This includes breaking each project into discrete pieces within an overall plan, defining requirements, clarifying elements along the way with stakeholders, conducting code reviews, running testing and QA, deploying and finally supporting the application.

- Broad C# .Net experience, including Winforms
- Full lifecycle application development experience
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
- SQL Server Database development
- Requirements gathering
- Debugging talent
- Design and create tables, views, triggers, complex stored procedures, functions, indexes and other database objects
- Create and test SSIS Packages
- Optimize queries and troubleshoot SQL Server related issues
- Experience reverse engineering C# applications
- Generate custom reports using SSRS 2008 (nice to have)
- Dog-friendly environment
