Your role
Division
The Middleware and Frameworks team within Euroclear Engineers (design and develop) supports and operates the communication, data management tools and infrastructures that enable the integration of business applications with operating systems within distributed environments.
Your Role
We are looking for a developer with a few years experience in Application Support / development in C++ .Net.
Your tasks will be:
- Support Euroclear Production (2nd and 3rd level support)
- Maintaining build, test and release systems
- Maintaining knowledge base and ticketing system
- Maintaining the development environment
- Diagnose and fix defects within complex systems
- Maintenance of legacy systems
- Evaluation of third-party components and tools for build and test systems
- Design and development of new components, packages and tools
The job is larger than a usual analyst - developer role:
- you will participate in the verification of the requirements
- analysis and implementation of the solution.
- integration, the customisation (non functional requirement) and testing of the framework - the testing of the final solution (Business Application) is done by another team.
You will support the Development, Test and Production environments.
The latter involves participating in Watch Duty (second to third line support) for a maximum of 1 week every 4 weeks, each person in the team is "on call" overnight.
You will benefit from the support of a very motivated team composed of Senior Analyst Developers and Technical Experts.
Your Profile
Essential skills required: .Net and related technologies or C, C++
- You have an IT degree, computer science or related field with 2 years experience
- You are analytical and you recognize underlying issues and problems.
- You have good communication skills for effective handling of problem analysis and coordination of effort within teams composed of IT experts across departments and support domains.
- You are flexible to work in a structural information organization and have a self-learning attitude to learn new tools and committed to increase own expertise
