As a C#.NET Systems Developer you will join a rapidly growing international IT Systems team, working for a leading global organisation. You will have significant impact on the company’s growth and success and you will be working with leading edge technology.
As a C#.NET Systems Developer you will work with maintenance and development of systems for the internal operations of the company. The main tasks will be automating common processes using Web Services, console programs, database trigger and classes.
The programming language is usually C#. but some APEX-coding will also be needed. The role-holder shall work alongside a team of Application Specialists and Systems Developers and report to the Systems Manager. The position involves close co-operation with the Project Management team, as well as the business functions of Sales, Marketing, Services and Support across the organisation.
The role includes International travel (across Europe) for approximately 20% of the time.
DUTIES:
- Develop and maintain all deployed systems supporting internal Sales, Marketing, Services and Support business processes.
- Improve internal business processes and CRM related Systems.
- Act as a Systems Developer / technical project manager during the selection and deployment of new systems in the organisation.
- Respond to and resolve user issues regarding the functioning of deployed business systems.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- C# .NET programming experience - Ideally 2 years plus experience.
- SQL Server – Relational Databases.
- Familiarity with “Cloud Computing”.
- Software as a Service (SaaS) model - software and its associated data are hosted centrally.
- Web technologies.
- Good technical understanding of business process supporting systems.
- Excellent communication in English, both verbal and written.
- Problem solving - Work well with complex issues and solve complicated situations.
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to work as part of a team.
DESIRABLE:
Experience in any of the following applications would be considered a significant benefit: Salesforce.com, WebSource CPQ, Xactly, or Marketo. High general IT knowledge
