C# .NET, WPF Developer - Oil Gas Industry 

As a C# .NET, WPF Developer you will be required to develop a Greenfield software product that will be used in the oil and gas industry. This will be a complex product that will require in-depth knowledge of C# .NET and WPF and experience developing C# .NET, WPF Applications from scratch.

Our client is a large consultancy that operates across the globe and works with some of the biggest oil and gas companies and is continuously at the breakthrough of technology for these companies. If you want to be using bleeding edge technology and working on some of the most complex and challenging projects in today’s market then you need not look any further

As a C# .NET, WPF Developer you will be required to:

  • Programme applications using C# in a heavy Microsoft focused development environment
  • Design end-user intuitive application workflows and user interfaces using both Winforms and WPF
  • Design and implement middle-tier business logic (client and server side)
  • Develop, profile and trouble shoot SQL database queries, stored procedures, functions and triggers
  • Provide progress updates on other team members
  • Liaise with consultants, support teams and global development teams and clients

C# .NET, WPF Developer specification:

  • At Least 2 years of WPF and WCF experience - not legacy projects
  •  8+ years experience using C# .NET experience developing complex, object-orientated, business focused multi-tier WinForms Applications
  • 8+ years using SQL server development experience and ideally some experience with T-SQL
  • Experience with .NET 2.0, .NET 3.5 and .NET 4.0
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or something similar, i.e. Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.

This role would suit someone from a consultancy / software house or large e-commerce company as you need to be able to take a concept to a product.
