We have recently been engaged by a High Performance Computer Start up firm to help them find x3 mid-level (1-4yrs exp.) C++ / Java developers. They are looking for the types of people that got their 1st computer in their teens are excited by technology since.
Our client actually builds computers that trade systematically on many of the electronic financial markets. However the culture of the firm is as far from the stereotypical finance or banking environment as you can get! They are a small group of exceptionally smart guys that enjoy solving complicated technological problems often requiring a strong grasp of mathematics too! Unlike many firms they have secure funding and an impressive track record of producing results where others many other investment management firms have struggled.

To be considered for this opportunity it is expected that you will have the following;
A true passion for technology (Home computing projects etc. )
• 1-4yrs+ C++ or Java programming skills. (The more high performance / mission critical in nature the better)
• Exceptional education from a leading academic institution. Disciplines could include, Computer Science, Engineering, and Mathematics etc.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Clear concise written and verbal communication skills.
