Leading top tier investment bank requires a top technologist for a development role delivering a new in-house built infrastructure from the ground up that will support the full scope of the Fixed Income prime Brokerage client offering. The team is responsible for the design, development, testing and release of enhancements to the Prime Brokerage systems as well as the analysis of operational issues and subsequent development of fixes. Liaising closely with the Front Office and Middle office teams, the successful candidate will be working on the Prime Brokerage and Financing Front Office applications.
• The successful candidate will have a clear focus on providing business solutions whether working independently or as part of a team whilst delivering in a high-pressure environment.
• The successful candidate will have enthusiasm, commitment, and a positive attitude, as well as being a strong team player. They must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to discuss, analyse and accurately document technical issues.
• Design and coding of production-strength systems whilst ensuring compliance with internal standards is a must.
• Analysis and development of solutions to resolve defects and simplify support overhead.
• Unit, integration, and regression testing and release of new functionality.
