C# Silverlight Developer – Agile/ TDD/ WPF, WCF / Front Office/ Fixed Income – London recruitment

My clients is A major European Investment House with a global reach who is seeking to grow its FX business within an aggressive time span with substantial investments in its trading systems. The team is looking for a Senior C# Silverlight Developer to help build a new trading platform from scratch. This is a completely green field project and C# Silverlight Developer will be joining a highly successful global technology team responsible for supporting and driving the growth of all the global FX business. This includes the full set of diverse products that make up the FX business including Spot, Forwards, NDF`s and Vanilla and Exotic Options initially and other asset classes (MM, Rates, Credit, Equity) afterwards. The team is engaged in a major software development project to create a scalable e-commerce trading platform to lead the bank into the next decade.

Responsibilities: C# Silverlight Developer – Agile/ TDD/ WPF, WCF / Front Office/ Fixed Income – London

• Designing performing a lead development role on a number of applications within an investment bank.

• Design

• Design management of delivery of key components of the CRM / Dashboard offering thorough understanding of Microsoft .NET Framework, Silverlight and / or WPF, ASP.NET JAVA.

• Experience of producing high performance low latency systems.HTML / DHTML, AJAX, JavaScript, XML / XSLT, XPATH. JSON.

• Object Oriented Design.

• Strong UX design skills.

• Banking knowledge.

• Experience as a Senior Developer / Technical lead working on .NET / ASP.NET / JavaScript web applications.

• Essentials – Thorough knowledge of Silverlight. Recent industry experience with Java.

• Experience in writing detailed technical design specification.

• Experience in developing framework Projects.

• Experience in providing technical guidance to more junior developers.
