C++ Software Developer – Message recruitment
The Bloomberg Message system delivers over two hundred million messages a day ranging from financial information and trades to emails from friends. It is one of Bloomberg's heaviest used products and provides access to critical financial information for many of our users.
We are seeking a senior software engineer to work on our messaging, contact management and email systems. We are looking for developers that are adept in working with high performance systems that rapidly transfer and process a large volume of critical data.
- Strong knowledge in C, C++
- Good working knowledge of programming in UNIX environment
- Strong knowledge in network programming and multi-threading
- Experience in building large-scale applications in a distributed environment
- Experienced in managing changes in highly sensitive systems
- No finance experience required
