C++ Software Engineer – Trading Systems recruitment
Susquehanna International Group LLP (SIG) has a job opening for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Technology team at our headquarters, just minutes outside of center city Philadelphia. You don’t have to have trading industry experience to join SIG; we can teach you the business. But you do need to have deep technical skills and an inclination to build systems iteratively and collaboratively with engineers up and down the stack. Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and implement software applications that satisfy complex business requirements using object oriented programming in C++ in a Linux environment
• Responsible for requirements gathering and analysis
• Participate in all phases of SDLC from initial requirements through final quality assurance and implementation
• Implement and maintain software updates
• Collaborate with technology team members on application design and implementation and generate innovative ideas to improve overall ability of the systems
• Provide training and support for application and tools built by the team
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related discipline or its foreign equivalent with at least 5 years of design and development in C++ programming, preferably in a Linux environment
• Demonstrated experience in object oriented design and development in a high-performance, high throughput environment
• Experience with all aspects of the SDLC, performance optimization, and latency reduction methodologies Business experience within the Financial or Securities industry is a plus.
