Harrington Starr is working with an Options Proprietary Trading House who is looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer to help build a proprietary trading system based on the Tbricks framework.
As the Senior C++ Software Engineer (C#, C++, UNIX, LINUX, Tbricks, STL) you will be developing a proprietary trading system used to trade Options, primarily Fixed Income and Equities, based on the Tbricks framework. You will be working closely with the CTO and small agile development team to develop this system, which has a C# front end. They are looking to expand the team in order to increase the amount of Greenfield development that they doing and further bespoke the system.
This market maker has been trading for the last 10 years and has been consistently in profit over that period. They trade options with a particular focus on Equities and Fixed Income. They put a large value on technology and are continually looking to innovate and introduce new ideas and languages. They operate on an open office trading floor and so you will be working closely with the traders and so you will gain a strong knowledge of financial assets and trading.
As the Senior C++ Software Engineer (C#, C++, UNIX, LINUX, Tbricks, STL) you will need:
* Strong Experience in C++ Development - Essential
* Strong background in UNIX/LINUX development - Essential
* Any experience with C++ such as STL, Boost or Open Source libraries - Highly Beneficial
* Knowledge of C# Development -Beneficial
* Experience of Tbricks or ORC Software - Beneficial
