Harrington Starr is currently working in partnership with this global leading ETRM software vendor which focuses on solutions tailored to the needs to the Gas, Power, Refinery and Commodities sector. This software goes across the board being personalised for clients to interact with Front, Middle and Back office existing applications and has highly skilled consultants to work alongside their large and expanding client base.
For this role as a C# SQL Integration/Developer/Software Consultant you will be interacting with all levels of the business user and presenting, training, implementing and developing add on for the software to interact with the clients interface. You will have the exciting opportunity to travel 4 days a week mainly being the EU or be based permanently in the project location for the course of the implementation if you would prefer. You will require a good exposure to programming in C# and working knowledge of SQL as both of these technical skills will be strongly utilised with clients. You will be enhancing the ETRM product and doing hands on training with the users therefore knowledge of; Energy, Commodities, Derivatives, Futures, Options, Forwards or Pricing would be beneficial but not necessary.
As a C# SQL Integration/Developer/Software Consultant you will need to:
* Have good programming experience with C# but be aiming to be/move into a consultancy/integration position- Essential
* You will need to Design and Develop interfaces to align with the clients current business systems- Essential
* Be able to conduct workshops and presentations on the software (which you will have full training in)- Essential
* Good communicator- Essential
* Industry experience- Beneficial
